One week to go

Today marks the start of the last week in the countdown. Everyone is getting rather excited, tickets/vouchers are all organised and now we are starting to think about what to pack. 

We have been watching the temperature in Japan over the last week, and it still quite cool, nothing much over 15c. I don't think I'll be packing many shorts.....

We have told Emma she is very limited in what toys she can take, but I doubt thats really sunk in. I've been madly encoding her favourite DVDs into divx format so she can play them on our portable movie player. Hopefully this will keep her occupied during the 9 hour flight.

19 Days to Go

Sharon and Emma made a "count down" poster for our Japan holiday. Every day Emma is excited about placing a coloured  star on the poster. 

Emma took the poster to kindy (day care) to show for her news item. All she talked about were the princesses she would see when in Japan (at Disneyland) and how she would go swimming in the sea with Princess Ariel (from The Little Mermaid movie)
